Bush Tucker Gardening

This week, some of our highest achieving Dojo students did some gardening with our gardener Terri and Ms Meredith. We planted some native bush tucker in our new edible native bush tucker garden bed. The students planted some native salt bush, mint, thyme, leek and winter cress to name a few.

Students at Midvale Primary School will help look after their native garden and watch our plants grow!

When ready, the bush tucker can be eaten or used for medicinal purposes and when berries from our edible garden are ripe, we will be able eat them!

Eventually we will add some beautiful native flowers!
